My Paw-Paw Tony gave up a long hard fight on December 27th, he passed away at home in the morning. He had been in the Snif rehab center at Elmwood-Ochner for physical therapy, he decided he wanted to come home for christmas because he said this was going to be his last one. My paw-paw Tony put up one heck of a fight to be released. He got home on Christmas eve. My whole family from both sides came to my house except 2 of my cousins whom were spending Christmas with their dad in Houma. The day was a hit everyone had fun, my paw-paw who hadn't been eating well at all had three plates of food. The next day my cousins came home and paw-paw wanted to go give them their gifts and visit with them, so he and my Rhea-Rhea loaded him up and off they went. After spending time with my cousins, Paw-Paw was hungry and wanted to stop and eat at an ole friends Tavern on River Road. This was a place where my grandparents used to hang out at a good bit before my paw-paw got so sick and weak. They loved to go eat, chat and visit with their friends Ms. Patsy and the late Mr. Rick. My mom and dad said they would visit for hours and one time my paw-paw had to pretend he was Santa at Ms. Patsy's christmas party cause the real Santa was booked up that night and he made my paw-paw and honorary Santa for the night.

After the visit they headed home as usual. My paw-paw went to bed and about 2-2:30 a.m my Rhea-Rhea helped him get up for a few minutes, then returned him to bed. He asked for his coke because he was thirsty, took his drink and started watching T.V. this was not out of the ordinary so my Rhea-Rhea went back to sleep only to be awaken again about 4:00 a.m. to hear paw-paw talking in his sleep about me. He was saying something about his 18month old grand daughter, then he started mumbling something about work (you know before he got sick he was always working), then everyone went back to sleep. Again at 9-9:45a.m Rhea-Rhea awoke to let her puppy dogs out, at this point is when my paw-paw wasn't responding. Rhea-Rhea called my mom and dad and we quickly went there, my paw-paw had just went to sleep and was now one of God's angels.

My dad notified my Aunt Connie and Aunt Cathy, they arrived quickly, very upset. It broke my heart to see my family so hurt. Both my paw-paws loved all their grandchildren to the extreme, but due to my heart condition they were both extremely worried about me. Both of them were sick, but they both held on to life until my heart was fixed. It almost seems like God took 2 for 1 . I hope when everyone looks at me they think of my 2 brave paw-paws who went to live in heaven we believe so I could be okay.

With my little story I want to ask all our friends and family to always keep us in your daily prayers. I intend to grow strong and healthy and will always love and Cherish my 2 angels.

I love you Paw-Paw Carvis and Paw-Paw Tony

REST IN PEACE MY PAW-PAW TONY, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, YOU WILL BE MISSED, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS. TELL MY OTHER PAW-PAW I AM DOING WELL.
